Muirfield Lakes Golf Club is proud to announce our opening day for the season is Saturday, May 2, 2020.

Please call our Golf Shop 587-365-1222 or book online to select your tee times. Please review the physical distancing and operating protocol listed below that will be in place before, during and after your visit to our golf course.

A day at Muirfield Lakes Golf Club during COVID-19

Booking and pre-round procedures

We will encourage all our guests to book and pay for their tee time online reducing the need for close contact for payment upon arrival to the club.

A tee time reservation must be made in advance either via online booking or telephone call. Walk-on players will be welcome; however, we ask that you stay in your vehicle, and one of our staff members will greet you and let you know when you are able to access the golf course.

If you have booked and paid for a tee time, and you aren’t feeling well the day of your booking, we will offer you a rain check or a full refund if preferred.

Upon arrival, one of our staff members will greet you from a safe distance in the parking lot, ask for your name and tee time, if you have paid, and if you are taking a power cart or walking.

If taking a power cart, and you are playing with a person you live in the same household as, you may ride in a power cart together, otherwise you will be limited to one rider per cart.

If you have paid for your green fee and are taking a cart, one of our teammates will clean and disinfect your cart in front of you so you can be assured it is safe for you to ride. The same procedure will take place if you are borrowing a pull cart from MLGC. We encourage all our walking guests to bring their own pull cart if possible.

If you have yet to pay for your green fees, one of our teammates will check you in from the clubhouse using our tap machines so no physical contact is required. Our clubhouse will be limited to a maximum of two guests at any given time inside the building.

Once you have paid for your round, you may then purchase any beverage items or to-go food items from the clubhouse through the Kitchen window. Once your purchases are completed you must exit the clubhouse immediately.

On course set-up and procedures

Our tee times will be set up in 10-minute intervals to help provide a safe distance between groups while on the course.

There will be no ball washing stations or trash cans on the course.

There will be no score cards or pencils. Coolers will be removed from the carts.

There will be no rakes in bunkers on the course. If your ball is in a bunker, please move it to an undisturbed area in the bunker or move it outside of the bunker without penalty.

Every cup will have an upside-down cup in it so your ball will not fall to the bottom. Please DO NOT remove the pin from the cup.

All on course washrooms will be closed.  The only access to washrooms will be in the Clubhouse.  Doors will remain open to reduce physical contact and touch points will be sanitized after each use.

Post-round procedures

Upon completion of your round, please take your power cart directly to your vehicle to unload your clubs. Then please drive the cart to the designated area at the clubhouse and remove all trash so one of our staff members can do a full clean and sanitization for the next guest.

Once your power cart has been returned, you may enter the clubhouse to use the restroom if required.

We ask that you leave MLGC promptly after the completion of your round to ensure there isn’t a possibility of gatherings taking place.
